Puzzle & Mini-Games Pack – My First Paid Unity Asset

Puzzle & Mini-Games Pack is a Unity asset I created as my own product for the Unity Asset Store. It contains several reusable mini-games and puzzle systems that developers can use in their own Unity projects.

While developing it, I focused not only on making the systems work, but also on making them reusable and easy to integrate into other projects. This required me to think about architecture, product presentation, and the entire process of publishing an asset on the Asset Store.

My first experience with monetization

I successfully published the asset and it has since generated actual sales. It became one of my first projects to generate real income from a digital product.

This gave me experience not only with Unity development, but also with publishing, product presentation, monetization, and maintaining my own product after release.

A small paradox

The project has one slightly funny problem, though. Even though the asset has already made me money, I still haven't managed to reach the $250 threshold required for a payout.

So I created a paid product that actually makes money, but not quite enough yet to withdraw the earnings. It has nevertheless been a useful experience in understanding how a digital product works beyond simply developing it.

The result

Puzzle & Mini-Games Pack is important to me because it was one of my first opportunities to experience the entire process of creating a Unity asset, publishing it, and actually monetizing it.
