Game Vision & Concept
Art Unlock – a mobile game that laughs right in your face.
It all begins when you least expect it. A short introduction—so brief that you can't even remember it—and suddenly you are thrown into a blank space. All you have is a canvas and a Send button. By drawing gestures on that canvas, you must discover minigames hidden throughout the game.
Every gesture is a key
Each gesture unlocks a particular minigame. A recognizer compares your drawing with stored shapes to decide which game to launch. The games are hidden: discovering them is part of the challenge.
Once you unlock a game, it begins normally. A familiar minigame, perhaps something like Flappy Bird. But only for a while.
The Programmer changes the rules
After the first quarter, reality breaks. The Programmer appears: a character who refuses to let you win. He watches you, interferes with the rules, changes the physics and glitches your controls. What was simple becomes brutally difficult. The line between playability and madness blurs.
And he laughs. He enjoys it.
The Gallery and all 100 minigames
Complete a minigame and it is saved to your Gallery, where you can replay it whenever you like. Your main goal is to discover and finish all 100 minigames. Each has its own twist, style and torment.
Finish them all to unlock the Final Game: the ultimate test, a boss fight against the Programmer.
